501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Status Pending February 16 . 2009
Puffy Paws Kitty Haven has completed the necessary paperwork and filed with the U.S. government for 501(c)(3)
tax exempt status today, thanks to the Ralph and Virginia Mullen Foundation.We'll keep you all informed and up
to date as our pending application is processed with the IRS.

Over the coming year, some
folks in the community may receive phone calls.We are seeking folks to become Members of Puffy Paws Kitty Haven so that we
may take care of the kitties daily needs. While none of us looks forward
to receiving a solicitation call at home, tele-fundraising campaigns are in fact very effective. Puffy Paws Kitty Haven calls
donors only once a year and these calls are a useful way of connecting with our community and helping the kitties at the same
time. | 
DONATE YOUR UNWANTED COMPUTER
Puffy
Paws Kitty Haven is requesting donations of used computer hardware and LCD monitors. This is a good opportunity for a corporation,
or individual, to recycle equipment while receiving a tax credit by donating to help out the kitties.
We
would be happy to pick up and wipe the data on any donated machines to Department of Defense standards. We would like any
equipment starting with a Pentium 4 level processor or higher and any size LCD monitor.
We will provide a thank
you letter and tax receipt. Depending on your tax situation, individuals can deduct the current market value of a computer
and business donors can deduct the un-depreciated value of the computer

“ Big Hearts For Little Kitties Adoptathon
”
Puffy Paws Kitty Haven will hold an Valentine Day Adoptathon called “ Big
Hearts For Little Kitties” on Saturday February 14th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Big Lots in the Lemon Bay Shopping Center
located at 1855 Englewood Road. There will be lots of kitties to adopt. All proceeds will benefit Puffy Paws Kitty Haven.
The adoption fee is $50 for kitties over 8 years old and $72 for under 8 years .For more information, call 941-473-5406
